Made this drawing today, I was thinking of making it into a poster size and give it a bright color as oppose to the black color it originally is, will try later and post an updated picture. Will see how it looks.

Bedroom Window

I am thinking of making this room my future office/studio space, I haven't decided yet.
I like it because I get good lighting in the mornings and the sun does not hit it in the afternoon hot sun. The room I am currently using for my office/studio is at the back of the house and it gets pretty hot in there since the sun hits it all afternoon. I was thinking maybe find a great book storage unit and keep all my art supplies in one place and putting the desk in the middle of the room with a big table for craft or sewing projects. Also I was thinking of starting a sewing or craft club with hopefully people who share the same interest, maybe meet once a month or so. More on that later. I will post pictures of my current studio space shortly.

Breakfast Egg Massacre

Hello everyone, I found this picture somewhere, but i thought it was too funny not to share with the rest of you. I love the imagination this person had in coming up with this concept. I love the different expressions each egg has and the whole idea of the eggs being attacked. If anyone out there finds its source please let me know, I like to give them credit.

Another Banner

Here is another banner for my blog, i am not too happy with it, but I figure I should add something as I am going. I am experimenting with color combinations, so far I am leaning towards bright happy colors. I will keep trying and hopefully will come up with a better color and design combination. I am still debating about the name, I haven't settle on anything yet but I will redirect as it comes to me.

Car Painting - Part 1

Hey, I am back in action. Last week I had a terrible tooth ache that left me without energy and brainless. All my plans got derailed and just barely now I am getting back into the swing of things. I finally started my new Car Painting as you see above. I got to tell you, I did not do this one with my new Wacom tablet, I used the mouse instead. After years and years of using the mouse I am very comfortable with it so I decided to do two different paintings, one with the mouse and one with the tablet. I will start the other one this weekend and later compare the two. The tables is very sensitive so I just have to figure out how to work with it. Practice makes perfect, right?

What to do with this name now

Another logo, I don?t know, but I am just not feeling it anymore. At first I was very excited about the possibility of using URICAL as my new company name, but now I am just not feeling it. I have to tell you, the word URICAL comes from the first three initials of my BBF and my last name. Being as we are some day getting hitched I thought it will work out in the end. But now that we are having issues (like always) and I am thinking maybe it is not such a good idea after all. It will be like getting a tattoo of your significant other and you all know where that leads to, a breakup and bad name tattoo of the person you wish you never met. I don?t want to jump ahead of myself and I think I will change my blog name entirely. It will be something like ?Becoming of a New Business? or something like that. That way if I change my mind (which I been know to do very often) about the name I can do so without any problems. I know Blogger is free and all, but I also don?t want to take advantage. Soon you will see an entry where I will direct you to a new blog. This new blog will keep me focus on my art work and the making of my new business. Later Dudes!

New Painting Project

Hi there, as soon as I get my new WACOM table, this is what I will be painting.
I love anything vintage and this is just the ticket for me. As soon as I finish it, hopefully in this life time, I will post for you all to see. I am very excited about this new gadget :), I wish I was getting it today. I checked and tracked it, looks like it will not be delivered until Friday, what a bummer :(. anyways what is a few more days.

My NEW Wacom Intuos3

I went ahead and purchased my new Wacom tablet and I am so excited about it. Can't wait to try it out and play with it. I wanted one of these for years and now since I am starting my new business I can splurge and buy one. I read hundreds of reviews and comments from people who bought it and the verdict is that everyone loves it and recommended it. Will post pictures of my new artwork with it and let you know how I do with it. My only regret is that I should have order it before the weekend so I can play with it sooner. Oh well, I guess I waited long enough, what is a few more days, huh?

Cupcake

Made this cupcake drawing this morning and gave it to my BBF, I think he liked it. Will promised him a real one when I see him.
I am still working on my logo design, there is just nothing that has capture my interest. I want something unique and fresh. It will come to me I promise. In the mean time I am trying to figure our a color scheme, I like the black, green and white combo you already see, but I think it is already dated. I also want something much softer on the eye. Hey, it is Friday, can't wait for the day to be over, I have so many plans, don't know where to start???!

My first Post

I think I settle on a name for my new business venture. I will call it uriCal Designs. I will post about the process of becoming a small business owner and the development process, a dream I had for far too long. I hope to meet people like me who also share similar goals and maybe help each other out through this blog.
